Once again, the Wakefield Warriors prove that their offense is unable to complete under any kind of pressure when the time calls for it. This Friday, the Warriors lost to long-time rival, Washington and Lee, giving Lee the win that they needed to make it into the playoffs again this year.
With an offensive line that seems to simply disintegrate when rushed by the defensive line, Warrior quarterback ,Drew Powell, cannot get a pass or a handoff finished without feeling the pressure, and panicing. This is basically the summary of the Warrior's entire offense this season.
This being said, it's time to get on to the game. The Warriors lost again in a 28-6 final, that puts the Warriors at 0-9 this season. With all hopes of making the playoffs this season being destroyed, many of the Warriors just want this season to be over. This poor attitude may be one of the main causes as for why the Warriors continue to lose so many of their games. With their last game this Friday against Mount Vernon, who is equally as bad as the Warriors, this team needs to win in order to make this season end in at least one positive note.
