Warriors fall to Eagles

In a moving and emotional senior night for the Warriors, the girls field hockey team fell to the Edison Eagles in a crushing 5-0 loss last night. The teams offense was unable to score and even keep the ball for longer than 20 seconds on the Eagles defensive side. Wakefield goalie Sara Santos led the teams defense by stopping almost all the shots that were taken on her. Unfortunately, her tremendous defense was not enough for the Warriors to gain their first win of the season. Maybe next time girls.
